Step 1: How to Get the Backmarket API Key🔑

Before starting the integration, ensure you have:

✔ Backmarket API Token
✔ Backmarket Country (your marketplace region)

You will generate the API token yourself using the steps below.

Follow the steps inside your Backmarket to create a new API token:

1. Go to Integrations

Simply go to the “Options”, Menu and Click on “Integrations” tabs in your Back Office of Backmarket.(as shown below)

Click on the "Add new Integration" button. The following menu will appear on the right side of the screen. (See below for reference.)

To connect Backmarket with Commercium, you will need an API token generated from your Backmarket. Follow the steps below to obtain your token and complete the integration.

Under the dropdown:

➡️ Select Direct API Connection
Then click Confirm.

Backmarket will now generate your API access token.

• Copy your API token.




• Click Finished

• Your API token provides secure access to Backmarket’s API.

• The token stays valid unless you change your Backmarket password.




• After changing your password, always generate a new token.
