Channels are the integral part of Commercium. Everything starts only after you have connected channels inside Commercium. In order to add Channels you need to go to Channels > Manage Channels > Add New Channel

In Commercium there are two types of channels
1. Primary Channel : Primary channel is the channel that you want to act as a source of truth for your product, inventory & price data. You can also send orders from your other channels to primary channel & fulfil orders inside primary channel & send back tracking information to your secondary channels.
For example, lets say you are already selling on Shopify & have all product data stored in it & now you are looking to sell on Amazon, eBay & Temu using Commercium. So in that case you will need to add Shopify as your primary channel inside commercium & Amazon, eBay & Temu as secondary channels.
You will be able to sync your product, inventory, tracking & price data from Shopify to Amazon, eBay, Temu & you will be able to bring your Orders from these platforms back to Shopify.
Generally E-commerce platforms, Inventory Order Management Systems, POS & ERP's are available to be added as Primary channel inside commercium.
Important Note : The first channel you add to Commercium becomes your primary channel by default. In case you have added wrong channel first & want to change your primary channel you can always contact support at [email protected] to get it changed.
2. Secondary Channel : Secondary channel is the channel where you want to receive product, inventory, pricing, tracking data from your primary channel & you want to send order back to your primary channel.
Generally Marketplaces, Retail Channels etc. are available to be added as secondary channels.
Important Note : All channels that you add after adding your first channel inside commercium by default gets added as secondary channels.
