Step 1: Registering a Client Application Using Authorization Code Flow
- Visit the Acumatica website, then go to the Left Menu bar and click on Integration Tab(It could be under More Items menu). Next, navigate to Configure > Connected Applications.
2. In the Client Name field, enter the name you wish to assign to your application.
Leave the Client ID field empty, Acumatica will generate this ID automatically when you save the form.
- Mode: Sliding Expiration
- Absolute Lifetime: Infinite
- Sliding Lifetime: 60 days
4. Open the Secrets tab and follow these steps for each client secret you want to create:
Click Add Shared Secret on the tab toolbar. A dialog box will appear.
In the Description field, provide a meaningful name for the secret(like Commercium)
Skip to Set an expiration date/time in the Expires On (UTC) field.
Copy the Value that is displayed; this is the only time the secret will be visible.
This secret is required for your client application to authenticate with Acumatica ERP.Click OK to save and close the dialog.
5. Navigate to the Redirect URIs tab and do the following for each URI:
Click Add Row.
In the new row under Redirect URI, enter the exact callback URL where Acumatica should redirect after authorization.
Make sure the URI is absolute and doesn’t include any fragment (i.e., no # part).
Use this redirect URI:
https://commercium.constacloud.com/handle-oauth-callback-restricted
6. Click Save on the form toolbar.
Acumatica will now generate a Client ID in the appropriate field.
Your application must use this Client ID together with the Client Secret you got in step 1.4 for authentication.
Step 2: Configure Web Service Endpoint
Once API tokens are set up, complete the following configuration:
From the Integration menu, go to Web Service Endpoints.
2. Find the default version 23 web service.
3. Click Edit, then choose Extend Endpoint.
4. A pop-up window will appear for creating a new web service endpoint. Fill in the details as follows:
- Endpoint Name: Commercium
- Endpoint Version: 23.200.001
