How to Create Products from Your Source Platform to Mirakl via Commercium

This guide explains how to create new Mirakl listings from your Primary/Source platform using Commercium.

With a Listing Profile, you can choose which products to list on Mirakl and define how product information such as the title, description, price, category, and attributes should be mapped.

Follow the steps below to configure your Mirakl product listing. 🚀

📌 Before You StartMake sure the following are ready:

• ✅ Mirakl is connected to Commercium.
• ✅ Your Primary/Source platform is connected.
• ✅ The Unique Product Identifier is configured.
• ✅ The required product information is available in your Primary platform.
• ✅ Product Sync is enabled.

💡 Important: Any information you want to map must already be available in your Primary platform. Depending on the field, the value can come from a native field, custom field, or default value supported by your Primary platform.

Step 1: Open the Listing Profile ⚙️

1. Log in to your Commercium account.
2. Go to Products.
3. Open the Listing Profile section.
4. Open an existing Profile or create a new one.
   

The Listing Profile controls which products are sent to Mirakl and how their information is mapped.

Step 2: Enter a Profile Name 
Enter a Profile Name that clearly identifies the configuration makes it easy to understand which products and settings the profile is using

Step 3: Select Which Products to List 
Choose the products from your Primary platform that you want to create on Mirakl.
You can select products based on your configured criteria, such as:

• Products matching specific conditions
• Products from a specific category
• Products meeting specific product criteria
  

👉 Make sure the selected products contain all the information required by Mirakl before continuing.

Step 4: Configure Product Information 🔄
Use the Listing Profile to define which information from your Primary platform should be sent to the corresponding Mirakl fields.
Configure the required fields, such as:

•  Title

Select the field in your Primary platform that contains the product title.

• Description

Select the field containing the product description.

•  Price Modifier

Use the Price Modifier if you need to adjust the product price before sending it to Mirakl.

You can adjust the price using:

• Percentage (%) — Increase or decrease the price by a percentage.
• Flat Amount — Add or subtract a fixed amount.

For example, if the Primary Platform price is $100:

• 10% increase → $110
• 10% decrease → $90
• $5 increase → $105
• $5 decrease → $95
  
  

This lets you set the Mirakl selling price without changing the original price in your Primary platform.

📂 Category
Select the appropriate category mapping for the Mirakl listing.

Step 5: Configure Attribute Mapping 🔗
Map the required Mirakl attributes to the corresponding fields available in your Primary platform.

The value you want to map must already exist in your Primary platform. It can come from:

• Native fields
• Custom fields
• Default Value

💡 Make sure the mapped value matches the format or accepted values required by Mirakl.

Step 6: Save the Profile 💾Once you have configured the:

• Profile Name
• Products to be listed
• Title
• Description
• Price(optional)
• Category
• Required Attributes

Review the configuration and click Save.

✅ Your Mirakl product listing Profile is now configured.
Step 7: Enable Product Sync 🔄After saving the Profile:

1. Go to your Mirakl integration settings.
2. Make sure Product Sync is enabled.
3. Save the settings 
   
   

Commercium will then process eligible products based on your Profile configuration.

⚠️ Important:

• Attribute Availability

Any attribute you want to map must already be available in your Primary platform.For example, if Mirakl requires a specific attribute and its value is stored in a custom field in your Primary platform, you can map that custom field to the corresponding Mirakl attribute.

If the required information is not available in your Primary platform, it cannot be mapped until the value is added.

• Mapping Changes

Changes to field or attribute mappings are not automatically applied to existing listings.
After you update a mapping, the new configuration will apply to:

1. Newly created products, or
2. Existing products that receive an update trigger from your Primary platform.
   
   

An update trigger can be any change made to the product, such as updating the title, description, or another synced field.
If an existing product does not receive an update trigger, its Mirakl listing will continue using the previously synced information.
To apply the updated mapping to an existing product, you can:

1. Make a small change to the product in your Primary platform, such as updating the title or description, to trigger a product update, or
2. Contact your Account Manager for assistance.
